Ironbark Raceway, located in the small country town of Roma, is an eighth mile drag racing track run by passionate locals from the South West Drag Racing Association who are sanctioned by Racers.
Our annual drag racing meet held over Roma’s Easter in the Country weekend is one of the clubs largest meetings of the year, boasting 120+ nominations for the 2 day event.
Brackets range from junior dragster, to bike all the way to the big blown boys!
Racing is Chicago shootout format with dial your own event & no seeding.
No dial-in changes will be allowed after vehicle has departed the staging lane.
Minimum of 3 qualifying rounds followed by 3 rounds of racing and ending with a final round for each bracket.
COST to race is $150.00 ($130 entry fee + 2 day entry $20) plus Racers licence, unless you hold a current Racers licence. This licence can be purchased online. Nomination Fee includes 2 days gate entry for DRIVERS ONLY.
NOTE: Nomination fee’s of $150 / driver nomination are applicable if whether racing 1 day or two.
LICENCE RACERS Clubman day licence cost is $30.00 or $75.00 for a yearly licence.
RACERS National Racing day licence cost is $60.00 or $250.00 for a yearly licence.

FORMAT: Scrutineering from 12pm – 2.30pm Friday 7th April with heats for Burnout Comp commencing at 2.30pm on Friday 7th April. Finals of Burnouts to be run on Saturday 8th April.
As 2023 marks the 20-year anniversary of Ironbark Raceway been opened we will be having a dinner in the stagging lane on Friday night commencing at 6.30pm were we hope to get as m
ON Saturday scrutineering will be from 11.00 am to 2.00pm with Drivers Brief at 2.45pm and racing from 3pm, we aim to run 2 qualifying rounds on Saturday with the remaining qualifier to be held Sunday morning with racing kicking off again from 9am. Scrutineering by arrangement on Sunday prior to 8:30am.
After qualifying is finished we have a small break, usually 30-60 minutes, then straight back into the action until all 3 rounds of racing and finals are completed.
Long sleeve clothing, AUS/NZ safety standards helmet and enclosed shoes are required by all drivers, passengers & crew.
Gates will be open from 8.00am Friday 7th April.
Track championship points are not accumulated for the Easter race meet.
Finalists are decided based on a WIN / LOSS basis for the final round and a countback system if necessary.
NOMINATIONS: Due before 1pm Friday 7th April
ENTRY: into the track is $15.00 / person aged 14 and over. Drivers are paid in Nomination Fee $15 covers two days for Drivers & Pit Crew only entry. ALL PITCREW WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A FORM AT SIGN ON TO ALLOW THEM ON THE TRACK.
NOTE: ANYONE AND EVERYONE INCLUDING DRIVERS & RIDERS (14 AND OVER) ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE $15.00 GATE FEE.
CAMPING: $5 / night per vehicle / entrant, available Friday through Sunday nights. Gates will be locked from midday Monday 10th April.

Canteen & Bar on track for food & drinks.
Coffee vendors will be present during the meeting at various times throughout the weekend.
BYO alcohol not permitted while event is in process.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL TO BE OPENED OR CONSUMED IN PITS WHILE EVENT IS IN PROCESS.
